Hey all!

Started off as a quick sketch that I rendered to practice painting with new custom brushes and techniques. Could be taken further as some areas lack detail but I'm still figuring out a style too, so this will do for now

The idea behind this piece was how I imagined dragons might look if they evolved to avoid being hunted for trophies by rich humans. Socially it would be considered cowardly to fight a dragon on the ground so the weaker fliers were spared whilst the rest were flushed out and ultimately killed. Gradually turning the race into shadows of their former glorious selves and lurkers in the deep places of the world. This one appears to have had a lucky escape.
